OSU Homecoming

This past weekend, Max & Mom heading down to Stillwater, OK for OSU Homecoming. Dad had to work so he couldn't make it :-(. We had lots of fun watching the parade & seeing friends and family. We did not attend the game since it was sooooo late (kickoff was around Max's bedtime), but I'm pretty sure the cowboys won due to their cutest new OSU fan being there to cheer them on! Max scored lots of new OSU toys & clothes from CeCe & Papa and his Aunt KT & Betsy. We had a great time but sure missed Daddy! It was a sunny day, but still chilly, so we needed the sweatshirt.

6 months old!

I can't believe I'm already a half a year old!!! It's gone so so fast, but I've learned a lot in these 6 months! I am now a rolling over pro, I can sit up all by myself for extended periods of time, and I'm even trying to get up on my knees to crawl. I love to babble, laugh & squeal, and I also know how to cry to get exactly what I want. I love water--baths, hottubs and pools are my favorite! I enjoy traveling, I've been to Texas, Missouri, Kansas & even Massachusetts! I like to eat rice cereal & I just recently started eating some fruits & veggies.
I am such a big boy...just had my 6 month check-up & I weigh 19 lbs 8 oz (90%) and am 27.5 inches tall (also 90%). The doctor gave me straight A's on all my milestones and says I also have a big brain (head circumference 75%) and will be super smart! Can't wait to grow & learn more!

Boston Trip

We had so much fun in Boston & took lots of pics!!!Here's Max on the airplane. He cried just a little bit on the descent on the way there, but didn't cry at all on either flight on the way back. Everyone around us commented on what a good baby he is! (Especially since there were 2 screaming babies in the back of the plane & Max didn't make a sound!)
Here is the fam in front of the USS Constitution

In the stroller, sightseeing
With his daddy, at an fellow's induction ceremony for my residency director
The whole family, after our "duck" tour that took us around Boston on land, and then turned into a boat for the water part of the tour

Max all ready for the Red Sox game!

Max, on our way to Fenway Park!
The Shipman Fam at the game!
Max at the end of the game! Unfortunately, the Red Sox lost by 1 run, I think that's why Max decided to pass out early...
More sightseeing!!!
Celeb sightings! Max spotted a filming of an Adam Sandler movie at our hotel...here's a pic of Kevin James & Rosario Dawson (I couldn't use my flash--that's why it's blurry)

And yes...that's Ben Affleck smiling right at Max, they were filming his movie in Copley Square, right outside our hotel.
We had tons of fun...but it's always nice to be home!
