Cousin Tucker

Once I arrived, I was so excited to meet my cousin Tucker! He was born just 6 weeks before me, and now that I'm here, we are gonna be best buds! Our mommies enjoy dressing us up alike, and we don't mind so much (for now). We like hanging out together, taking naps & sometimes crying together!With our aunts on my birthday

New Friends

The Smith's were so excited to finally meet little Shippy! 9 months is such a long time to wait to meet a new friend! Toran can't wait to teach him all kinds of little boy things. And then we were all so anxious to meet little Avery Lynn Henson, Max's new girlfriend & neighbor. She arrived on Friday, April 23rd at 2:23 pm, and Max thinks she is awful cute! Emalee, Toran & Max

Whew! It's tough out here!

Oh boy did I have a rough 1st week! First, I broke my collarbone during delivery. I had to wear a sling for awhile, but it's already getting better so now I only wear it as needed for comfort. Then mom & I had some issues with breastfeeding & I got dehydrated, but now we have it all figured out & my doctor was very happy with my weight gain at my most recent visit. And we won't even mention the circumcision!

Max already is a very loved and popular little guy! Lots of friends & family have stopped by both the hospital and house to see him. He is so lucky to have so many people that love him so much! He likes having vistors, despite the fact he sleeps most of the time!

Max's Birthday

We were thrilled to welcome Max Jeffrey Shipman into the world on April 14th, 2009 at 2:26 pm. He weighed 8 lbs 1 oz and was 20 1/4 inches long. He is sure to live up to the name "MJ" (Michael Jordan) & be a stud basketball player, because he has the longest fingers & toes ever!
